September Empties: What I Actually Finished

There’s something oddly satisfying about finishing a beauty product.

There’s something oddly satisfying about finishing a beauty product.

We live in a time when there’s always something new to try: a new launch, a viral product, something we suddenly start seeing everywhere. So often, before we’ve even finished what we already have, we’re already thinking about what’s next.

And I completely get it. I love beauty and discovering new products. Plus, as a content creator, I’m constantly receiving new things to try, so inevitably I’m exposed to far more products than I could ever actually finish.

But I’ve also learned to try things with intention. I have sensitive skin, so I can’t simply jump from one product to another without thinking about what I’m using. When I find something that genuinely works for me, I go back to it again and again. And if something doesn’t work for me, I don’t force myself to finish it either; I’d rather give it to someone who might actually enjoy it.

Maybe that’s why finishing a product tells me so much more than a first impression ever could. It means I used it again and again, had enough time to understand how it worked for me and, among so many options, kept choosing it.

That’s also important to me when I share products with you. Something working for me doesn’t guarantee it will work for everyone, beauty is incredibly personal, but at the very least, I can share a real experience: I tried it, I used it, and it worked for me.

So here are some of my empties from this month. These aren’t necessarily all the products I use or even all of my favorites, just the ones I happened to finish recently and have had enough time with to form a real opinion.

Because in a time when we’re constantly thinking about what to try next, there’s something especially satisfying about making it all the way to the last drop.

Con amor, xx
